Growing up in the EL Centro District, I have seen a lot of changes to the valley, especially in the downtown and eastside areas. I would not want to live anywhere else. That is why I decided to get involved and run for office. I am a U.S. Navy Veteran and a very strong advocate for vets, volunteering and donating to help out my brothers in arms. I am new to politics but in researching this post, I know I can be an awesome Constable. There are great Constables out there and I want to be among their ranks.

Deeply Connected to El Centro

Reuben V Macias has lived the El Centro District for decades, he grew up there, building relationships and understanding the unique needs of our neighborhoods. He attended Papago Elementary, then went to ST. Mary's and graduated from North High. He also likes to support local eateries like The Norteno, Knock Kneed, and Carolina's, to name a few. He goes to St. Agnes every year for the fiestas and has gone to a lot of concerts at the Celebrity Theater. His commitment to local service is a lifelong endeavor, not a political ambition. With all of this said, he knows of the duties he is expected to perform, and he will do so humbly, remembering to treat the members of his community with empathy and respect while maintaining unequivocal professionalism.
